Kelleher Environmental Services

Facilitation, Adult Education and Environmental Training Services

Kelleher Environmental has delivered a number of innovative environmental education and training programs as well as professionally facilitated a range of workshops and meetings for clients in Canada and Europe. We specialize in environmental topics, and have developed training programs and technical manuals and facilitated client workshops and meetings on a range of topics including climate change, waste management, environmental liability assessment and nutrient management, among others. For our training programs we create concise, effective and ultimately well used training manuals, training aids and curricula. For workshops and facilitated meetings, we develop agendas through a needs analysis approach, to ensure buy-in to the process and agenda ahead of time.

Our team possesses the unique combination of environmental expertise and adult education expertise which is used to create innovative workshop agendas and engaging training program curricula.

Our approach to adult education is action-oriented and practical, with an emphasis on creating training programs which enable participants to develop skills and ideas that they can use to immediately improve on-the-job performance and understanding. We extend beyond the simple presentation of information to the much more demanding and important task of facilitating adult learning. The design of our training programs is premised on the belief that adults “learn by doing” and by immediately applying new skills and information. As a result, our training programs are highly interactive and practical and are carefully prepared to meet the individual needs of each client and each participant.

Kelleher Environmental also provides workshop delivery and management and professional facilitation services to a wide range of clients. We use similar techniques to build an agenda that participants will support, and spend considerable preparation time to ensure that facilitated meetings and workshops achieve desired client outcomes.

Our training, workshop and professional facilitation services include the following approaches

• Needs analysis
• Agenda development
